Wedding garments deserve enough time for considered choices and calm fittings. Beginning early also leaves room for coordinated family looks and late schedule changes.

Eight to ten weeks before

Book the first consultation. Bring the event dates, venue information, preferred colours, footwear ideas, and references for the overall mood. This is the time to choose the silhouette and shortlist fabrics.

Six to eight weeks before

Confirm cloth, trims, embroidery direction, and measurements. Mention any travel, weight changes, or styling layers that may affect the final fit.

Three to four weeks before

Attend the first fitting with the footwear and inner layers you plan to wear. We assess balance, shoulder, chest, waist, sleeve, and length while there is still time for meaningful refinement.

One to two weeks before

The final fitting confirms comfort and finishing. Walk, sit, and rehearse key movements. Collect coordinated pieces together so colour and proportion can be checked as a complete look.

After collection

Store the garment on a supportive hanger in a breathable cover. Keep it away from moisture, perfume, and direct sunlight. Steam lightly only when the fabric and embellishment allow it.

Good wedding tailoring should reduce decisions during the final week, not add to them.

For multiple garments or intricate handwork, begin earlier. A consultation will establish a timeline specific to your design.
